Though the fight in South City was caused from a simple want to have a fight, it had turned into something so much more than that. Majin Liari had ran across the Earth, attacking cities time and time again, claiming the lives of those who would try and stand against her, killing those in the city through her attacks and senseless destruction. Through her actions, Athren had to put a fellow saiyan in the ground, one who had actually changed his opinion on him, one that had earned his respect. It was about the worst thing to come from that whole encounter, and for the innocent people of the city, Athren had did what he could do bring them back to life but even his own abilities had limits. There was plenty of bad that came out of the South City fight, but there was also just a little bit of good that came from it all. Liari had been defeated and with that, came a great amount of information. Beneficial information that could help Athren solve all of his problems, resolve all the damage from his past and bring back those he had killed. His primary objective, was resorting Orange City and the people who died as a result and to do that, He'd need to find the Dragon Balls.
Callion was the one, who informed Athren about Earth having them. There was no longer a requirement to go to Namek, to go in search through the stars to find a method of which he could fix all of this. The answer was on Earth, all along. He was foolish to cast it aside, to not question whether or not the magical orbs existed on Earth or not. He should have searched for every possible answer on every possible location, yet with Earth, he didn't think so.
Currently, Athren found himself going through Ukare's room looking for the device Ukare once told him about, the device that could find the Dragon Balls. It took him a hot minute, though when he final had the device he couldn't help but smile. This little device that he held in his right hand, it was the key to all of it. He could right his wrongs and bring everybody back, he could bring his friends back, his crew, everybody on Earth that he killed. It was the only way he could right his wrongs.
"Well Ukare, it looks like even in death.. You're still helping me out."
Walking outside of his ship, Athren would press the button on the top of the Radar to turn it on. A line had moved in a circle around it and beeped every time it crossed a direction of a Dragon Ball. Though he hadn't used it before, it was a very simple design and very easy to follow and given he had seen Dragon Balls before, he knew that the were Orange Orbs, just like the ones on Cereal. With that though in mind, all he had to do was fly towards the orb until it was at the centre of the screen and go from there. That would be the difficult part, actually locating it once he got to it's location.
Swiftly, Athren would fly in the direction of the ball that was closets to the middle of the screen and it was taking him North. As he flew, he kept track of how fast he was approaching the Ball, but it was quite a distance away, he couldn't help but assume it was taking him towards the frozen North. With the breeze ruffling his hair around and his flight speed quick, it wouldn't take him too much time at all to get to where he was going, and it wasn't before long that he was right on top of the location of the Dragon Ball. Of course it was the Frozen North, snow and ice as far as he could see. The landscape was rather plain, but it had an odd sense of beauty about it, with some large mountains off in the distance. If it wasn't for the brisk, cold air kissing his skin. He might've almost found it to be a worthy place to build his home.
Though he couldn't think about that now, he had to get to work and try to find this Dragon Ball. The landscape was large and the radius the Dragon Ball could have been in was, quite large. He didn't know how accurate this radar was, but with all the snow and ice. It very well could've been frozen deep below the surface which one could walk. His feet quickly touched down on the snow, as he began scanning with his eyes for any signs of the orb. There had been no foot brings, indications that something had recently into the snow and out of sight from him, so his best guess was that it was underneath all of this somewhere. His first move, was to use an energy blast across the surface to try to clear up any snow, to shake it up but still, there had been no signs of it.
Through the next little while, Athren would keep searching throughout the snowy landscape, dedicated to find this Dragon Ball. It was right there, within arms reach. He just had to find the damn thing. He searched through every crevice he could, under all the snow before concluding that it was underneath him, it had to be in the thick layers of ice, or at the bottom of the ocean below that was covered in the ice, but he wasn't going to give up just because it was difficult. He had to find this thing, and if he couldn't. He'd try again later but for now, the search continued. He'd even go as far as breaking the ice and taking a freezing cold swim, with nothing more than A hovering Ki blast to illuminate the area.. Now, he just needed to find it.
